A new creation

This is my first real post to this site, the others having been tests of the system. As in any project, there comes a time to say, “OK. Time to show it to the world.” One must find a way to be comfortable with imperfection, uncertainty, incompleteness, as well as criticism, failure, and success.
The people who best represent success in my eyes are those who show their full selves, “warts and all,” as they say. And they simply — well, perhaps not so simply, but elegantly — accept the good and bad of what they have created and take their next step forward.

Life is about taking one step after another. The academic life is no different.

In the days ahead, I will be adding new features, categories, links, and information on how to use this site. You can keep up to date by subscribing to the RSS feed (if you know what that is and how to do that. If you don’t, you’ll likely find a link sometime soon that will help you get a grasp on it.). And… well, there is more to come.

Welcome aboard. May you find value on these pages and feel welcome to participate through your comments, suggestions, praise, and supportive criticism. I look forward to this journey.
